INTERRUPTION
With the relationship between the Artist and Spectator in mind, I took part in an event called Heckle run by Bosse and Baum gallery and curated by Feltacts. Heckle was a series of performances and a workshop centred around the idea of heckling in reference to its dual meaning of an interruptive act and a weaving act. In attending the workshop I explored the physicality of gesture and language in helping to create situations of heightened self-awareness within encounters. I investigated the live aspect of the edges of language and gesture, in this case heckling, and how it could create
hyper-reflective events.
